Guided by a core belief that quality design should be available to all, John J. Clark, AIA, NCARB has a community-centered body of work in affordable housing development and on design teams for justice, educational, athletic, and other commercial facilities. A native of Albuquerque, NM, Clark relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL as part of the Enterprise Rose Fellowship. In this work, he focused on the development of transit-oriented affordable housing projects in Miami-Dade and Broward counties with the South Florida Community Land Trust. His experience and leadership have been recognized locally and nationally, including as recipient of the 2022 AIA National Young Architects Award and recognition as the 2018 Emerging Professional Scholar by the AIA Academy of Architecture for Justice. In addition to his practice, Clark is an Adjunct Instructor at the Florida Atlantic University School of Architecture.
